'Lucida' began through weekly zoom calls between scattered friends around Ireland. We discussed new methods of making, had crits, supported our practices, devised ways of navigating the artworld, laughed senseless over silly jokes, supported each other with gentle chats, and kind words that could almost substitute a hug. Through our zoom calls, we remedied our social isolation and digital exhaustion through connecting with each other.

Our zoom calls became the catalysts to our collaborative projects, but also our space to connect with each other during the pandemic. All of 'Lucida's' practical support and creative imaginings began with discussion and will continue to grow this way.

The following podcasts will be available weekly during the 'Infinite Becomings' Exhibition in NCAD Gallery (13th April to May 11th).

They will give a small insight to these weekly zoom calls, while also expanding on our concepts and processes behind the first iteration of the 'Infinite Becomings' project.
